International Women’s Day was on March 8th, and the team at AMP Business Coaching took time to celebrate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women all over the world. Sheryl Sandberg: You may know Sheryl Sandberg for her role with Facebook, but what you may not know is that she also runs a nonprofit called Lean In, where she is a strong advocate for women and people of color in the workforce.
Angela Hwang: Angela Hwang is the Group President of the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Group and had a direct role in helping to create and plan the company’s vaccine production and education effort, which is proving to be a game changer for getting our country back on track after an unprecedented year.
Roz Brewer: As the Chief Operating Officer and Group President of Starbucks, Roz Brewer had to lead her company during the pandemic, which was extremely difficult for restaurants and coffee shops. In the face of falling sales, she moved many of the stores to focus on drive thru and pick up orders rather than the familiar indoor dining and meeting place.
